Ushers

Ushering is perhaps the easiest ministry, but it is an essential part of making everyone feel welcome and invited to St. Matthew’s. Ushers arrive about 20-30 minutes before the service to assure that everything is ready, welcome visitors, hand out bulletins, count attendees, take offering, present the offering and communion elements to the altar, and straighten up the church after worship. If you are 10 years old or older, we would love to teach you the ropes.
